Dry land bush vines that have never been irrigated from 4 vineyards that yield between 1-3 tons per HA: Contermanskloof vineyard, Durbanville (planted in 1975) and parcels in the Swartland: Nuwedam vineyard (1974), Nuweland vineyard and Uitvlug vineyard
Overnight rough settling in tank before transferred into 400L & 500L old French oak barrels
Whole bunched pressed
Fermented with wild yeasts in 400L & 500L old French oak barrels and remained until blending before bottling
4,500 bottles produced
