Guillaume d'Angerville is one of Burgundy's most esteemed winemakers, but a bottle of Stéphane Tissot’s Arbois Chardonnay inspired him to invest in the Jura, where he bought several parcels of land, including vines previously farmed by Puffeney. This is topped up, or non-oxidative Savagnin, with notes of sundried herbs, waxy yellow fruit and hay, and a long, elegant and saline mineral finish.
