What is this wine?
Dominique Lafon, long recognized as one of Burgundy’s great winemakers, produces a small range of wines under his own label in addition to his legendary work at Domaine des Comtes Lafon. Champ Gain is a premier cru vineyard in Puligny-Montrachet, situated high on the slope above Folatières, with thin, stony soils that yield particularly mineral, tension-driven Chardonnay.
