If you aren't with familiar with Domaine des Croix, there is one thing you should know: we love David Croix! He begin his winemaking career straight out of viticulture school when he took over the reigns at Camille Giroud (as well as working with Guy Roulot), when he was just 24 years old. In 2016 he quit his day job to focus entirely on his own small domaine, which he purchased back in 2005.

Professional Reviews

Robert Parker

RP 94
"This dark ruby/purple-colored wine displays gorgeously fresh aromas of candied cherries, cassis, and blackberries that lead to an explosive flavor profile densely packed with jammy blueberries. This full-bodied, highly-concentrated, oily-textured, powerful, and sweet wine has one of the longest and most fruit-filled finishes I've experienced in Burgundy." -Robert Parker

Wine Spectator

WS 92
"Impressive. Very dark in color, showy in aroma and very oaky, this full-bodied wine bursts with superbly concentrated blackberry, cassis and black cherry flavors that blanket the palate with supple texture. Tannins are firm, but give it time for the ripe flavors to integrate the oak."

Focus On: Burgundy

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
