Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 93
"Pale chartreuse color. High-pitched, mineral-driven aromas of nectarine, lime zest, white flowers and ginger. Juicy and tight, with bracing acidity and a distinctly saline iodiney character. Picks up a bitter pear skin note with air and finishes with superb clarity and stony persistence. This is one for the cellar, as are all of Boulay's wines. Recent bottles of the Clos de Beaujeu 2005, 2000, 1997 and 1995 have shown extremely well."

Loire Valley Wines

The Loire Valley is France’s greatest source of value for anyone looking for elegant, terroir-driven wines. Our collection celebrates the region’s great diversity, with the mineral-driven whites of Muscadet and Sancerre, the beautiful Chenin Blancs and Cabernet Francs from villages like Vouvray and Chinon, and natural wines from everywhere in the region. Sometimes wonderfully fresh and gulpable, sometimes serious and age-worthy, the prices are always very reasonable.
