Gallica Wines was established in 2007 by Rosemary Cakebread, a Napa veteran who held winemaking positions in wineries such as Inglenook and Spotswoode. The winemaking processes behind Gallica are simple, relying on small lot fermentation and hand punch-downs to coax out lush tannins. The end goal is to bottle balanced and expressive wines which represent the best of a particular vintage.
