Domaine Chevrot’s Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023 comes from organically farmed vines near Maranges in the Côte de Beaune. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in older barrels, it highlights bright red fruit and subtle earth, staying true to Chevrot’s hands-off, terroir-driven philosophy.

This is a vibrant, approachable Burgundy Pinot that captures both the energy of the vintage and the domaine’s commitment to purity and finesse.

More about Domaine Chevrot

The southern gateway to the Côte de Beaune. Brothers Pablo and Vincent work 20 hectares across Maranges, Santenay, and the Hautes Côtes—less famous names that let you taste terroir without paying for a label's reputation. Their family's been here since 1830; this is deep-roots winemaking that rewards exploration.

Flatiron's Take

From the Importer

The fruit comes from two different vineyards, Sur le Chêne with a gravelly soil and Sur le Bois with a clay soil. Both vineyards are classified as Maranges Villages and could be labelled as such, but then this charming Bourgogne Rouge would cost more. The vines average, 45 years-old and cover a half of a hectare. The grapes are destemmed, fermented in concrete and aged for six months in used barrels. Bottled without fining or filtration. The Bourgogne Rouge is always fruity and playful and meant to be enjoyed young.
