is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
What is this wine?
Laura De Vito is one of the rising stars of Campania, farming high-altitude vineyards in Lapio, the heart of Fiano di Avellino. Her Elle cuvée comes from carefully selected parcels of old-vine Fiano, grown on volcanic and limestone-rich soils. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve purity, allowing the grape’s natural aromatics and minerality to shine. The 2021 vintage in Campania produced wines of excellent balance, with both concentration and freshness.
Why get this wine?
Fiano di Avellino is one of Italy’s greatest white wines, and Laura De Vito is quickly becoming a benchmark producer. Elle is elegant, precise, and terroir-driven, offering serious complexity at an outstanding value. For lovers of mineral-driven whites (think white Burgundy or Loire Chenin), this is a must-try expression of Southern Italy.
What does this wine taste like?
Aromas of pear, citrus, and white peach, layered with acacia, hazelnut, and a smoky volcanic note. The palate is textured yet vibrant, with saline minerality, crisp acidity, and a long, savory finish.
When should you drink this wine?
Drink now for freshness or age 5–8 years to reveal deeper nutty and honeyed complexity. Excellent with seafood, grilled vegetables, or roast chicken.
