"Deep yellow. Subdued aromas of custard cream, puff pastry and pear. Then much more lemony and floral in the mouth with zingy acidity nicely extending the flavors on the long salty back end. Not a bad easygoing sparkler perfect for uncomplicated summertime sipping." -Ian D'Agata

"The NV Vino Frizzante Bianco Voria is one of those wines that might leave you on the fence. This is a semi-sparking or frizzante expression of Catarratto closed with a bottle cap instead of a cork. The wine is cloudy and slightly veiled in appearance with sediment at the bottom of the bottle. The bouquet shows chalky, talc powder-like aromas with lemon soda and canned peach. It offers a dry taste profile with light, foamy fizz on the close. The alcohol is 11.5%, and some 10,000 bottles were produced." -Monica Larner
