Porta del Vento farms high-altitude vineyards in northwest Sicily using biodynamic methods. “Voria” Bianco is a frizzante blend of Catarratto and other native grapes, spontaneously fermented and bottled unfiltered with no added SO₂.

Made in the col fondo style, it’s hazy, bone-dry, and deeply Sicilian. A natural sparkling wine with texture, grip, and strong sense of place.

"The NV Vino Frizzante Bianco Voria is one of those wines that might leave you on the fence. This is a semi-sparking or frizzante expression of Catarratto closed with a bottle cap instead of a cork. The wine is cloudy and slightly veiled in appearance with sediment at the bottom of the bottle. The bouquet shows chalky, talc powder-like aromas with lemon soda and canned peach. It offers a dry taste profile with light, foamy fizz on the close. The alcohol is 11.5%, and some 10,000 bottles were produced." -Monica Larner
