Biodynamic Gamay Saint-Romain from the granitic hillsides of the Loire's Côte Roannaise at 400-550 meters elevation. Stéphane Sérol took over in 1996 and, with wife Carine, converted the estate to organic then biodynamic farming. The domaine champions Gamay Saint-Romain—an autochthonous local variety they help preserve. From deep granite soils rich in manganese and iron oxide across 38 hectares. Certified biodynamic through Biodyvin since 2016, ECOCERT organic certified.
