An artisanal traditionalist working in near-obscurity, Accomasso remains a secret among Barolo cognoscenti who value purity above all else. This Rocchette Riserva spent weeks macerating in open concrete, hand-punched by Accomasso himself, then aged in massive botti—old wood that coaxes wine rather than imposes. The result is profound herbaceous and mineral character shot through with dark cherry and menthol notes, backed by the elegant structure Accomasso's La Morra–influenced style is known for.
