Nearly 220 years of family winemaking on the "roasted slope"—Domaine Gallet was founded in 1807 in Ampuis, and the 6th generation now tends 4.5 hectares across Côte-Rôtie's steepest vineyards (up to 60° incline). The blend of 94% Syrah and 6% Viognier is co-fermented traditionally, aged two years in oak. The warm 2019 vintage (14.5% ABV) delivers a riper, full-bodied expression: violet, mixed berries, dried herbs on the nose, silky and luxuriant on the palate with long tannins.
