What is this wine?
Domaine Alain Cailbourdin has been a benchmark producer in Pouilly-Fumé since the 1980s, farming Sauvignon Blanc from prime limestone and flint-rich terroirs on the right bank of the Loire. Les Cris is a single-vineyard bottling from limestone soils, expressing the purity and minerality that define classic Pouilly-Fumé.

Why get this wine?
This is precise, terroir-driven Loire Sauvignon Blanc from a master of the appellation. Unlike broader blends, Les Cris captures a single site’s character, delivering tension and elegance. The half-bottle format makes it perfect for casual meals, picnics, or an easy weeknight option without sacrificing quality.

What does this wine taste like?
Crisp and focused, with citrus, green apple, and gooseberry layered over smoky, chalky minerality. Dry, vibrant, and mouthwatering, with a clean, saline finish.

When should you drink this wine?
Drink now for freshness, or over the next 3–5 years. Excellent with goat cheese, oysters, or simply prepared fish. The half-bottle size is ideal for two glasses with dinner.
