"Medium to deep ruby, the 2017 Alesia Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains has a spicy nose of pipe tobacco, Earl Grey tea leaves and dried rose petals with dried herbs, woodsmoke, prosciutto and licorice over warm cranberries and blackberries. Light to medium-bodied, it has a good core of earthy fruit with a very soft frame and juicy acidity, finishing long and spicy."

• 100% Estate fruit from Mt. Pajaro, Alpine and Horseshoe vineyards (Santa Cruz Mountains AVA)
• Various soil types from each site and elevations ranging from 400′ to 1610′
• Hand-harvested
• Native yeast fermentation
• 12% whole cluster grapes were cold soaked for 5 days. They were foot trodden as well twice a day during fermentation.
• Aged 18 months in 25% new French oak. 15 of those months was on the lees
• 13.2% ABV
