"The 2021 Branco Reserva was produced with 93% Bical and 3% Cercial and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, where it matured. It has lemony aromas, some smoky and spicy notes, perhaps because of the bâtonnage, and some exotic fruit (mango, papaya). They call this a white for the winter and for the table, with a light palate, 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.3. They think 2021 is the best year for whites, as the wines have more freshness and acidity, and that's also something that they apply to the sparkling wines from the year. It has a medium-bodied palate and a bitter twist in the finish. 3,871 bottles produced." -Luis Gutiérrez
