Cantina del Pino possesses some of the oldest vines in Barbarersco. Grape production has been part of the Vacca family for four generations, with their most famous vineyard holdings centered around the Ovello cru. Along with nebbiolo, the cantina also produces barbera, dolcetto, amd freisa.

"The Cantina del Pino 2019 Barbaresco Gallina is also quite subtle and delicate. This wine plays to the smaller nuances of Nebbiolo with violet, iris, dusty limestone and wild currant. The tannins are silky, and the wine feels soft and satin-like to the palate."
