"Picked at night for the first time this vintage, the 2022 Cairanne Blanc l’Estevenas is a terrific wine. A blend of 50% Clairette, 40% Roussanne and 10% Grenache Blanc, half was fermented and matured in demi-muids, while the rest went into stainless steel. Complex scents of white peaches, custard and dried spices appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is rich and expansive but balanced by sensations of citrus zest, fresh fennel and sea salt on the lingering finish."
