The Rochioli family has grown grapes on their property since the late ‘50s over 3 generations
Sourced from the mid-40 block (82%) and River block (18%)
Yolo sandy loam and overwash, derived from sedimentary formation in alluvial fans
Clonal selection: Clones 5 (planted in 1995) and 76 (1995 & 1998, and Clone 5 from the River block (planted in 1989)
Whole cluster pressed for phenolic delicacy
• Native yeast and full native malolactic fermentation in barrel
• Sur lies bâtonnage
• Aged 20 months in 20% new French oak barrels (François Frères and Taransaud Beaune)
• Traditionally fined for clarity, but unfiltered
• 13.5% abv
