Balanced with great acid and a lemony hit on the palate with faint reduction and petrol note. There is an acid driven, tropical fruit "curd" like passionfruit or mango with lime coupled with a minerally salty, almost oily texture and a nice finish.
From vines planted in 1978 on sandy loam in the town of Los Alamos.
Grapes are destemmed and see 24 hour skin maceration before natural fermentation in neutral French oak. Then aging for 10 months in old barrels.
