Vietti is one of Piedmont's most historic estates, founded in the late 1800s in Castiglione Falletto. Alfredo Currado's innovations included producing one of the first single-vineyard Barolos (Rocche, 1961) and the famous Artist Label program, later exhibited at New York's MoMA. Luca Currado joined as winemaker in 1990; in 2022, the estate was named Winery of the Year by Vinous. This Moscato d'Asti comes from estate vineyards in Castiglione Tinella, a premium zone for Moscato, with vines nearly 40 years old on limestone and clay soils. Made via the Asti method—single fermentation halted to retain natural sweetness and light sparkle. Intensely aromatic with peach, rose petal, and ginger. Delicately sweet with crisp acidity. Perfect as aperitif or with fruit desserts.
