"The 2022 Vijariego Blanco (or Verijadiego Blanco) has a low 11.1% alcohol, a low pH and high acidity, reflecting an early harvest in a warm year and a warm zone. It fermented and matured in 500-liter oak barrels for 10 months. This is a late-ripening variety, the last to be picked, and the grapes still achieved moderate alcohol (it's in a more shaded place). The wine has some austerity—it's a sharp variety—with a strict and neutral palate with faint aromas of white flowers. All the wines are clean and precise, and this is no exception. It should develop nicely in bottle."
