The oldest continuously operating distillery in the U.S. sits on the banks of the Kentucky River and has been distilling since the late 18th century—family-owned after more than two centuries. Named for the ancient buffalo paths that led pioneers west, right through the distillery grounds. Buffalo Trace Bourbon (90 proof, aged 8-10 years) is a masterclass in balance: light bronze, complex vanilla and mint, molasses aroma, pleasantly sweet with brown sugar and spice melting into oak and leather.
