This Haut-Médoc cru bourgeois represents outstanding value and quality from the northern Médoc under the stewardship of the Cordier family. The 2022 explodes with ripe fruit character—bold blackberry and blueberry aromatics layered with violet and pencil shavings—while the palate demonstrates impressive structure for its category, with velvety tannins and succulent dark fruit balanced by subtle dark chocolate notes on the finish. Already approachable, this wine will reward patience with further development over the next three to eight years, evolving into a more complex, age-worthy expression. One of Sénéjac's finest efforts in recent memory, offering genuine Bordeaux character without pretension.

"Clean and mineral, this is quite serious with a dark, and rich layer of black fruits with liquorice, flint and graphite. I like the sleek cool suaveness of it, it's not shouting but is really well worked. More of a serious, less acidic style, but still vibrant and supple, well balanced and well presented. Round, softly juicy with bite. Harvest 12-29 September. Yield of 32hl/ha. Ageing in French oak for 15 months, 30% new. 6% Petit Verdot completes the blend."
