This Pinot Noir/Chardonnay coferment comes from the certified-biodynamic and highly prized Johan Vineyard in the Van Duzer Corridor. They chose to destem the Chardonnay but leave the Pinot Noir whole-cluster, and the fermentation was semi-carbonic, yielding an aromatically complex and vivid wine.
