Marcillac sits in the Aveyron, deep in southwest France, where steep terraced slopes and a continental climate produce reds of startling intensity and mineral character. Domaine du Cros is the appellation's benchmark estate. The 2022 delivers dark fruit, iron, and herbs with a rustic grip that rewards hearty food and adventurous palates.
