Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes, 2022 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.

If you’re after that classic Chambolle magic—perfume, silk, and fine-boned structure—look no further than Mugneret-Gibourg’s “Les Feusselottes.” This 1er Cru sits just behind the village center, nestled in a shallow basin that gives wines of remarkable elegance and aromatic lift.

In the hands of Mugneret-Gibourg, one of the most respected domaines in the Côte de Nuits, Feusselottes becomes something truly special. The 2022 vintage brings a bit of warmth and fruit generosity, but it’s all wrapped in delicate tannins, pure red berries, rose petals, and that Chambolle chalky finesse. There's a subtle tension here—a wine that feels soft-spoken but has a lot to say.

Farming is meticulous, the cellar work is gentle, and nothing is rushed. It’s Burgundy made with precision and grace, and while it’s already charming with a bit of air, this wine has the quiet strength to age for well over a decade.

Perfect with duck, mushrooms, or just a night when the table is set and the conversation is good.

"Slightly cooler though not more restrained aromas include those of essence of red pinot fruit and plum plus a lovely array of floral elements, in particular lilac and rose petal. The super-sleek and vibrant middleweight flavors exude a subtle bead of minerality on the utterly delicious if lightly austere finale that is shaped by fine-grained tannins. This too could use better depth, but more should reasonably develop."

"The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes reveals aromas of sweet cassis and raspberry fruit mingled with hints of rose petals and vine smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and suave palate that's layered, polished and seamless, concluding with a saline finish. This is an especially charming Feusselottes in the making."

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
