"There is just enough smoky reduction to mask the nuances of the mostly white orchard fruit and floral-scented nose. The mouthfeel is also rich and generous to the point of opulence as the full-bodied flavors are quite suave yet manage to retain reasonably good detail and a subtle bead of minerality on the youthfully austere and slightly firmer finale. This could also be enjoyed on the younger side, which is to say after 3 to 4 years yet repay up to a decade of keeping."
