Brambly red fruit, a hint of spice, almost like an Alpine Gamay or Mondeuse. From clay and quartz soils on isolated hills at elevations of 700m. Fine, yet grippy, tannins and bright acid. Iliana Mahilin is a young and incredibly talented winemaker working the vines of her family and her neighbors, many of whom she convinced to convert to organic farming. We can't wait to see what this soon-to-be superstar does next.
