“Circa” 2023 is part of the J.L. Chave Sélection line, drawing fruit from trusted growers in Saint-Joseph and made with the same care as the Chave family’s estate wines. Primarily Marsanne, with a smaller share of Roussanne, it’s fermented and aged partly in neutral oak and partly in stainless steel to preserve freshness and finesse.

The 2023 vintage is vibrant and layered, offering notes of white peach, honeysuckle, citrus zest, and a gentle almond roundness, underpinned by the region’s hallmark stony minerality. There’s good weight here, but it never feels heavy—just textured and quietly complex.

Perfect with roasted poultry, creamy seafood, or richer vegetarian dishes. A superb intro to Rhône whites, or a smart value alternative to white Hermitage.
