The world's oldest named wine still in production—an unbroken tradition stretching back nearly 3,000 years to ancient Cyprus. Commandaria is made from sun-dried indigenous grapes (Mavro and Xynisteri) grown on the volcanic slopes of the Troodos Mountains, then aged using the solera system to blend young and old wines for consistency across generations. The Knights of St. John made this wine famous during the Crusades, and KEO continues the tradition today. Expect amber color, honeyed sweetness balanced by nutty depth, dried fruit, and baking spices. A dessert wine steeped in history.
