Kumeu River is best known for making some of New Zealand’s finest Chardonnays, but their Pinot Noir is just as compelling. The Village Pinot Noir is their most approachable bottling, sourced from estate vineyards in Kumeu, just north of Auckland. With a cooler maritime climate and gentle winemaking, the 2021 vintage delivers a beautifully fresh, lifted style of Pinot.

Juicy red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry lead, with subtle hints of spice, dried herbs, and a touch of earthy minerality. The tannins are soft, the acidity keeps it lively, and the finish is clean and refreshing.
