Named for the patron saint of Chablis, “Saint Martin” is Domaine Laroche’s flagship village cuvée, blended from a selection of sustainably farmed sites across the appellation. Laroche has been part of Chablis since the 1850s, and their deep roots in the region show in the quality and consistency of this bottling year after year.

The 2023 vintage brings bright citrus, green apple, and flinty minerality, all wrapped in brisk acidity and a clean, sea-breeze finish. There’s no oak—just stainless steel fermentation and careful lees aging to add texture without weight. It’s a style that honors Chablis’ hallmark clarity and precision, with enough flesh to make it highly versatile at the table.

More polished than most basic Chablis, Saint Martin bridges the gap between racy Petit Chablis and more structured premier cru bottlings. If you enjoy Muscadet, Sancerre Blanc, or white Burgundy with a seaside soul, this is a go-to.

Perfect with raw oysters, grilled sole, goat cheese, or a simple roast chicken. Serve chilled, and let it open up in the glass to reveal its quiet depth.

Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

"The 2023 Chablis Saint Martin doesn't really say much on the nose—a little generic and tight-lipped. The palate is much better with notes of lime and red apple and fine acidity, though again, the finish feels rather monotone compared to others. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis." -Neal Martin

"A dizzying array of aromas range from green apple and peach to soft white blossoms and spice. The texture is dense, but surprisingly good acidity for the vintage deftly balances the richness and carries the wine to a solid finish. Grapes from the best village-level sites throughout the appellation are fermented in stainless steel tanks and large casks (15%), then the wine aged for six months on its fine lees to give a bit more depth. Will drink well on release and represents fantastic value in Chablis."

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
