Markus Altenburger is one of Austria’s top Blaufränkisch specialists, crafting pure, energetic wines from the limestone soils around Lake Neusiedl. Vom Kalk (meaning "from limestone") highlights the grape’s natural brightness and structure, with minimal intervention to keep things fresh and lively. The 2023 vintage is juicy, vibrant, and packed with character.

Dark cherry, blackberry, and a hint of blueberry lead, backed by cracked black pepper, dried herbs, and a subtle smoky edge.
