The Pacific Northwest's first dedicated kosher winery. Pacifica was founded by Philip Jones, who spent 20 years crafting wines in New Zealand before purchasing land on Underwood Mountain in the Columbia Gorge in 2006. The cool-climate vineyards straddle the Oregon-Washington border. This Pinot Noir is certified kosher (OU) but not mevushal—quality comes first. Ripe berry and black cherry with mineral and earthy undertones. A serious kosher Pinot that competes on merit, not just certification.

This Pacifica line is the kosher version, from Evan's Vineyard on Underwood Mountain in Columbia Gorge, Washington. The Riesling is dry, mevushal under Oregon Kosher supervision. The Pinot Noir blends from some of the Gorge's best vineyards in Oregon and Washington. The Cabernet-Merlot is Washington fruit. They're proof that kosher wine has moved far beyond its old reputation—Royal Wine's partnership with Evan's shows what happens when you care about both tradition and taste.
