"The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru, raised in two-thirds new oak, has a delectable bouquet of pure red fruit that exudes the essence of Pinot Noir and Vosne-Romanée. The 2023 is maybe a little more restrained compared to vintages several years ago. The palate is medium-bodied with exquisite balance, poise and filigreed tannins, yet there is real weight on the finish. This is one of the finest Les Suchots that Sébastien Cathiard has produced." —Neal Martin

Small holding in Vosne-Romanée with 5.5 hectares in premier and grand cru sites, including slivers of Clos de Vougeot and Romanée-St-Vivant. Sylvain took over from his father in the 1980s; his son Sébastien joined in 2006. Tiny production, exceptional quality, rare on the market.
