A cloudy, golden hue and a gently reductive, kind of Burgundian nose. The fruit has a sunbaked golden fruit quality that reminds me of quince, apple or pear. It finishes with a clarity and minerally precision more elegant than most.

"From vines in the south part of the island, the 2022 verdelho (which is the same grape as in Madeira and the Azores) also contains some 10% Albillo Criollo (a cross between verdello and Listan Blanco). It fermented in 500-liter oak barrels and stainless steel and matured with lees for 10 months. This is aromatic and has a mellow palate with moderate acidity."
