Even without a known vintage, a bottle of Essencia speaks volumes: it’s crafted from the free-run juice of individually selected, botrytized (nobly rotted) grapes, so dense and sugary that it ferments at a glacial pace—sometimes taking years to reach 2-4% alcohol.
