Valdespino is one of the oldest and most revered names in Jerez, renowned for traditional, hands-off winemaking and some of the deepest solera stocks in the region. Their Manzanilla “Deliciosa” comes from the seaside town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where constant ocean breezes and humid conditions create the ideal environment for growing the delicate layer of flor that defines true Manzanilla.
Deliciosa is textbook Manzanilla: feather-light, bracingly dry, and tinged with a faint salty snap. Aromas of green almond, chamomile, sea spray, and green apple unfold into a palate that's racy, savory, and mouthwateringly fresh. Aged under flor in old barrels for around five years, it offers much more complexity than most casual drinkers expect—without losing its sense of effortless drinkability.
The 375ml format makes it perfect for aperitivo hours, light lunches, or simply making sure you always have something bright and briny in the fridge.
Serve cold, and pair with: oysters, salted Marcona almonds, fried fish, or jamón Ibérico.
