Twin brothers Andrea and Marcello Mantengoli began making wine in 1988 on land their family has owned since the 1930s. Starting with just 1 hectare, they now farm 8.5 hectares on the eastern slopes of Montalcino at 400m elevation. Certified organic since 2013 vintage (always farmed organically). New eco-friendly cellar built 2003 with geothermal cooling and solar power. Since 2009, aged only in large oak casks.
