Rajat Parr's Phelan Farm sits just three miles from the Pacific, where maritime fog creates a cool growing climate. This Savagnin-Chardonnay blend showcases Parr's use of Burgundian techniques in a coastal setting. The 2023 vintage benefited from an extended growing season, allowing both varieties to ripen slowly on clay-quartz soils. Only 3,840 bottles produced.

Vineyard
The Savagin Charddonay botlting comes from the Phelan Farm Estate vineyards located three miles from the Pacific Ocean on the San Luis Obispo coast.
Viticulture
Phelan uses a mixed farming approach inspired by permaculture, biodynamics, and regenerative agriculture in our pursuit of healthier soil. This approach includes several holistic measures that draw on the natural vitality of the vineyard and its surroundings. along with no-till agriculture

direct-pressed to neutral barrel for fermentation
Aging
16 months in 500l Stockinger barrels. Bottled by hand without fining or filtering
