Frantz Saumon has embraced organic and biodynamic farming in Montlouis‐sur‐Loire since 2002, blending estate and sourced fruit to showcase Chenin elegance. His “Vin de Frantz Menu Pineau” continues his minimalist approach to Loire whites.

The 2023 is made entirely from Menu Pineau, a rare local variety grown on clay‑limestone and silex soils. Fermented naturally and aged in a mix of ceramic, stainless steel, and neutral wood for about five months, it is bottled with minimal sulfur. The result is clean, mineral, and terroir‐focused.
