The tension specialist of Ente's two premier crus: Clos de la Truffiere sits high on the Puligny hillside on shallow, well-drained limestone, with rows planted north-south that stress the vines and drive minerality over flesh. Where his Folatieres is broad and powerful, Truffiere is all vertical energy - taut, saline and cut from stone. Ente farms without chemical weedkillers and ages the wine patiently in mostly older oak to keep its precision intact. This is white Burgundy for lovers of chiseled, mineral-driven Puligny built for the long haul.
