"The 2022 Pinot Noir Le Pre du Col Vineyard is coy in the glass, slowly blossoming with hints of wild strawberry, wilted violets, savory spice and wet stone. It’s lifted and finessed, with saline mineral tones up front that introduce its core of dark wild berry fruit, gaining a pretty inner sweetness over time. The 2022 firms up through the finale, leaving a coating of fine-grained tannins as a pleasantly bitter twang of tart blackberries slowly fades.
