Finca Torremilanos, Ribera del Duero Crianza 'Torremilanos', 2019
is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Finca Torremilanos, one of Ribera del Duero’s oldest family-run estates, was also the first in the region to be certified biodynamic. Their 2019 Crianza comes from estate-grown vines averaging 60 years old, farmed on limestone-rich soils near Aranda de Duero. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in a mix of French and American oak for about 14 months, this wine blends tradition with precision.
The result is classic Ribera depth—black cherry, blackberry, cedar, and warm spice—with lifted aromatics, fresh acidity, and silky tannins that make it more elegant than brooding. There’s a savory undercurrent—earth, tobacco, a hint of leather—that adds depth and complexity, while the oak is well-integrated and supportive, not overpowering.
Perfect with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or aged cheeses, Torremilanos Crianza 2019 offers a refined and eco-conscious take on one of Spain’s most iconic wine styles.
