An excellent little bottle of wine with an apt label of a thunderbolt on a bright red background. Just humming with an electric current of acidity, nearly vibrating your palate as you drink it, it punches well above its weight by price. What could almost be too much acidity is buffered by a silky layer of fruit, green apple, limeade, and cut grass. A slick layer of residual sugar gives it a slurp-able quality, rather than puckering. It goes down very fast with a finish that urges you to have another sip.

70% of the fruit is sourced Florian Fauth's own vineyards, with a majority of that from grand cru Aulerde (his brother-in-law, Klaus Peter Keller also farms this vineyard), the rest is from trusted friends and neighbors.
