"A distinctly earthy nose is wonderfully fresh with a more restrained nose of softer floral influences and ripe yet cool red cherry and raspberry scents. Once again the medium-bodied flavors possess a beguiling texture that contrasts moderately with the robust, dusty and powerful finish that is a bit less austere than it typically is. Even so, this is also very built-to-age so at least some patience should prove beneficial."

The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, tea leaves and bay leaves infusing the black fruit with a tertiary finish. It's an introspective Clos Vougeot requiring 4-6 years in bottle." -Vinous
