The most revered wine region in the world, Burgundy’s producers – most of them small and humble – make Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sought out the world over.
While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!
There are many ways to get started in Burgundy. The most common is probably to dive in by color. You can narrow the region down by shopping for Red Burgundy, White Burgundy, even Rose Burgundy, and Cremant de Bourgogne (Sparkling wine from Burgundy).
If you're ambitious or looking to learn more about one of the world's greatest wine regions, you can explore Burgundy by region and discover precise example of Burgundy's terroir and quality.
Here are the regions, listed from North to South:
- The electric, limestone rich wines of Chablis
- The magic found at the golden slope of the Cote d'Or,
- The lesser-known , but no less profound Cote Chalonnais
- and Maconnais, Burgundy's jewel of value.
