"A brilliant wine, the 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur bursts with aromas of crisp yellow apple, waxy lemon rind, pear, pastry cream and peach, complemented by a delicate hint of citrus blossom. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and layered, with superb concentration and reserve at the core, bright acids and a long, saline finish. While I caught it in a comparatively expressive state, the wine is likely to shut down, given its structure and substance."
