"(essentially 55% merlot and 45% cabernet sauvignon, but with bits of petit verdot and cabernet franc) Good full medium ruby. Roasted but lively aromas of cassis, blackberry, bitter chocolate, game and tobacco. A moderately dense, persistent wine with good mid-palate sweetness and stuffing to support its tannins.
