"The 2023 Chénas Chassignol undergoes a 28-day maceration with two rounds of foot pressing, 30% of the wine aged in used barrels and 70% in various sized foudres. This has one of my favorite bouquets from Thillardon, with peony and rose aromas infusing the hints of pure red fruit and mandarin. The palate is well balanced with a fresh entry, crisp acidity and a strict, linear finish. I admire its uncompromising nature." -Neal Martin
